Our home has been destroyed by a fire

Hi my name is Nikki and I am trying to raise some funds to help in the cleanup and replacement of items in our home, which has been ruined due to a fire.

Our family have had to move to different places to have a roof over our heads. Being disabled and homeless isn’t fun.

We were in bed asleep when the fire broke out, luckily the neighbours heard the fire and came round and woke us up. We all needed emergency treatment and oxygen.

I have only been living in the property for six months and spent the whole time putting every spare penny into the house to make it a home. We finally got to a point where it was perfect and we were just about to start the garden.

When the fire broke out we had just had a delivery of new fences, decking and a shed. All have now totally gone. Along with the cube bikes.

Because the move was still new I (like an idiot) hadn’t gotten round to sorting the insurance out. It was always the next job on the list. Due to being disabled and part of the disability affecting, memory and brain function it’s been easy to forget to get insurance sorted. Obviously hindsight is as always a wonderful thing.

I am trying to help raise funds to replace the things we lost, decorating, and helping to cover the expenses of temporary housing.

Myself and my daughter have been left suffering with PTSD from the ordeal.

If anyone could find it in their hearts to help, no matter how big or small I would be so grateful, I have given plenty in the past to help people in similar circumstances and will continue to do so in the future.
