My name is Marilyn D. I need your help raising money for My Sweet Sister Dorene she desperately needs a Double Lung Transplant due to End Stage COPD, Chronic Emphysema. The money raised will be used for her housing, fuel, travel Expenses, food, & other unexpected expenses. Her Transplant Team of Surgeons Require her to be set up & living near the University of Utah Hospital Prior & Post Operatively for 3 months or longer following her Recovery with a 24/7 Caregiver. She is struggling to breathe on her own even with her Oxygen & her Lungs burn continually & feels so sick even with great effort & it’s difficult for her to even go outside to walk. She’s been home bound for the past 2 years. She is limited Financially. She will also be on many Immunosuppressant Meds for the rest of her lifetime. She’s a fighter I know she will fight through this. She won’t let this kick her down. She had Covid 19 last year & pulled through it like a real trooper. Her Physician’s were amazed. She loves Horses & hasn’t been able to ride for many years. It’s her dream to get back on a horse & ride again. She has two beautiful dogs Austin & Sage they are her life besides her loving family. She loves life & she is very grateful for this Second chance to live & enjoy her life again!!!
