Grandfather diagnosed with Cancer

Our grandfather Jose Vizcaya was diagnosed with lung cancer that has metastasized to the central nervous system. (cancer cells metastasize and form secondary tumors, the cells in the metastatic tumor are like those in the original (primary) tumor). He is currently in Venezuela and needs chemotherapy and radiotherapy. His family has done everything possible to cover the treatments but it’s just not enough. He is full of light, and is a victim of the current crisis in Venezuela - as the treatment he needs is impossible to find without sufficient funds. A little goes a long way and we truly appreciate the help. His dream has always been to leave Venezuela and we aren’t ready to give up without a fight. 

Nuestro abuelito Jose Vizcaya, Venezolano fue  diagnosticado con cancer en el plumón con metástasis al sistema nervioso central. Requiere de quimioterapia y radioterapia. Su familia hace todo lo posible para poder seguir con su tratamiento pero no es suficiente, algunos medicamentos son muy costosos y no cuentan con los recursos necesarios, por eso pedimos tu apoyo.
