In mid January Siobhan began feeling really sick. She made five visits to different hospitals in the Greater Boston Area i.e MASS GENERAL and BRIGHAM and WOMENS.

After almost two weeks, on January 23 Siobhan returned to Brigham and Women's Hospital in critical condition, where she had a cat scan that showed a fully collapsed lung with shift, meaning her heart, spine windpipe and other organs were all being pushed and crushed by her fluid filled collapsed lung. Her lung was filled with 6.7 Liters of fluid and counting at that time.

She then spent the next 3 weeks in the hospital having several painful procedures and surgery. They placed two chest tubes in her lungs trying to fight the infection and abscess in her lungs.

She still has a long and slow road to recovery, as she was in very critical condition and is trying to gain her strength back. Simple tasks such as walking are still difficult and she gets winded very easily. She will be having a visiting nurse come to the house over the next several weeks.

As a primary career bar tender, many of you know that being out of work for a week never mind over a month is a huge feet. Our Girl deserves our support to help relieve even a little bit of stress during this time of healing while she is trying to get back on her feet.

Siobhan is a person who is ALWAYS there for anyone who needs her. Now it is time that we support her in any way we can. Any amount is not too small, every dollar counts. We chose our goal amount due to her bills and rent that she will be needing help with to get back on her feet.
