"Sorry to make this a long post.
My sweet Devon is really sick, late Saturday night/ early Sunday morning she had multiple seizures, she started running through the house growling and shaking, my son thought it was something in the attic, I didn't really wake up because I thought that she was getting annoyed with Astrid, my son woke me up and when I saw her she was really out of it, she was in the corner panting and then she ran under the bed and started panting again, we called the vet hospital and they of course told us to bring her in, at this point she was back under the bed, I couldn't get her out, I actually had to lift the mattress and box spring to get her, usually she fights when I have to put her in the carrier, but this time she didn't, Astrid was scared and didn't know what was happening, we get her in the car and we get 2 minutes from my house and she started having a a seizure in the car and in the cat carrier and then she fell over, when we get her to the vet, she started having a seizure right while I was checking her in and she started drooling. They gave her some anti seizure medicine and they wanted to keep her overnight and have her see a neurologist and get a MRI, that was going to be between 5,0000 to 7000 dollars, I don't have that kind of money, so the only thing I could do was bring her home and monitor her through the night, they gave me anti seizure medicine to get her to Monday when I can get her to the vet, she has been okay, her walking is off ,she has been eating and just resting. Astrid won't go around her, all she does is hiss at her, I even had to fed them in separate rooms.
I will keep everyone updated as soon as I know more.
I'm so sad, and I have been just hugging her and loving on her. Thank you."
