Our geo-expedition to West Greenland

Get us to Kangerlussuaq, West Greenland!
Hello, we're a group of 6 students from Newcastle Uni heading to the Russell Glacier in Greenland this summer.
As melting in Greenland has increased by over 600% since 1980, more research is essential to understand the future of climate change, threatening the Arctic, the global population, and the geographical landforms there.
Some of our lecturers at Newcastle University have done ground breaking research in places like Greenland, and we want to follow in their footsteps. We aim to write our university dissertations on the features we find in Greenland, and support other institutions with our overall findings.
Our expedition is being partially funded by the Royal Geographic Society, Newcastle University, and the Gino Watkins Memorial Fund, however due to unforeseen circumstances this trip will cost more than our budget!
Many thanks, Joe T, Joe M, Maddy, Holly, Isaac and Catherine.
