We never thought we’d be writing something like this — but the community that has supported us since day one deserves to hear the truth.

Secret Disco Society was robbed.

A few nights ago, three masked men broke into our storage container in Austin. They cut the lock, drove up, and stole almost everything:

Our generator

Our 10x10 tent

All our audio cords, connectors, and gear

Even our Halloween decorations we planned to reuse

They took more than equipment — they hit the very tools we use to bring music, joy, and community to Austin.

Who We Are

Secret Disco Society has spent the last 4 years creating unforgettable events that bring people together through music, movement, and shared experiences. From pop-up warehouse raves to rooftop sunset sessions, we’ve always been driven by one mission:

To make Austin feel more connected, more alive, and more full of joy.

We do this for the culture. For the creatives. For the dancers, the dreamers, and the people who just want a space to feel something real.

We’ve booked over 100+ local artists, partnered with dozens of small venues, and sold out shows all over the city—all powered by our small team and a deep love for this community.

We don’t take a corporate budget to make this happen. We use our own equipment, we hustle from scratch, and we put every dollar into making magic.

Why We Need Your Help

This gear was everything to us. Without it, we can’t operate our shows, and we can’t continue providing a platform for the artists and communities we love.

We’re not asking for handouts. We’re asking for help to recover and rebuild—so we can keep bringing Austin the experiences that have become so meaningful to so many.
