Our Friends the Roznys Need Our Help

Donation protected
John and Chris Rozny have been caught in a costly legal battle due to unscrupulous manipulations of a family estate resulting in their expulsion from their business and means of survival.
John's father Chester and grandfather, Ray, opened Park Ridge Auto as a Shell gas station and auto repair in 1945.  A longtime popular neighborhood institution, motorists from Park Ridge and the surrounding area relied on the Roznys to service their autos and trucks for 75 years.
Their shop added a new element in the early 1970s when Chester and his young son John entered the Model A hobby.  Beginning with their own 1930 Tudor, other Model As were aquired and restored, including their popular AA Popcorn truck.  Their generosity was extended to several Model A owners in the Illinois Region MARC by assisting numerous members in total restorations.
When Chester became ill and passed away , John took over the business. John and his bride Chris (they had married in 1985) continued to expand the business which included restoring, repairing, and servicing Model A Fords.  In 2016 Christine became Assistant Director and then Director of the local Model A club.  Involved with all activities, she and John hosted many club events and seminars at Park Ridge Auto.  Christine is now the Vice President of the national  Model A organization.
Unfortunately, two plights began to confront John and Chris.  John's health became compromised with the onset of diabetes and several strokes has affected him in many ways.  Compounding their predicament has been a vicious and costly attempt to take away their place of business and their family heritage.  Misguided relatives have launched an attempt to evict John and Chris from their place of business, eliminate any inheritance, and besiege them with costly legal expenses. Keeping a semblance of a normal family life for John, Chris, their five children and their grandson has been challenging.  Their legal defense has put an exorbitant burden their family.  It is for their legal defense that financial assistance is desperately needed.  Thank you for any help you can give.
