Our friends Nereida & Carlos

Just 5 days into the new year, residents watched as their condominium apartments were destroyed in an early morning fire. One of those residents was Nereida Nevarez, her husband Carlos Alarcon and their two dogs Lucy and Toby. Luckily everyone made it out safe, but they were left with nothing but the clothes on their backs.

Both Nereida and Carlos are hardworking and have completely lost their home and all their belongings. They are currently staying with their daughter while they attempt to rebuild the home and life they had, as they are devastated.

Our hearts go out to them and all the other families who have lost their homes. Anyone who can help Nereida and Carlos will be truly appreciated beyond measure.
