Our friends, Rod and David are struggling right now and we are asking for your support and prayers.

David had Covid late this fall. He was ill and had breathing complications for several weeks following his bout with Covid.

He never really recovered and kept seeing the doctors and was told he had Covid long haul. Davids health continued to decline in December, January and February….with the Covid long haul diagnosis. In mid February things took a dramatic turn and David ended up in the hospital and the doctors found his heart was failing.

Since February 16th it has been a roller coaster of good news, bad news and a lot of testing for liver, heart, and kidney issues. He is in the University Hospital Fairview and on March 4th experienced cardiac arrest and multiple procedures. He had heart surgery on March 10th replacing a heart valve and his aortic arch repaired. He is looking at a long recovery and is still facing health issues. He is still in critical condition and struggling with ICU delirium.

David is self employed and his health has not allowed him to work since early November.

Rod has been taking care of David, their home and trying to work as much as possible. Rod is also self employed.

As you can imagine, this has caused financial difficulties with lack of income and huge expenses. David and Rod have been together for 28 years. They are great people with huge generous spirits. We are asking for your help to support this terrific couple.
