Our friend Ted's medical expenses

My friend Ted Spiess recently fell off his roof while trying to clean his gutters.  He unfortunately broke his back/neck, but is alive and well.  He will be unable to work for at least a couple months and his medical bills are pilling up.  He is probably going to kill me for setting this up, anyone who knows Ted knows that he is much more comfortable giving help than he is recieving help.  So with that in mind, and the holidays in mind, help me give back to Ted, a selfless man who never hesitates to help others in need.  Anyone who has had medical issues knows how much these things end up costing.  Any amount would be appreciated.  I thank you, and I know that Ted will be forever grateful.
