I am reaching out with a heartfelt plea for my dear friend Susan, who has been a pillar of strength and kindness in our lives for the past 15 years. Recently, Susan received a devastating diagnosis of Stage 4 Lung Cancer (despite being a nonsmoker for the past 25+ years) and she now faces an uphill battle with mounting medical expenses.

Throughout the years, Susan has been the embodiment of selflessness and compassion. She has always been there for her friends and family, offering her time, love, and support whenever it was needed. Susan's dedication to her loved ones is truly inspiring. She spent countless hours driving to Connecticut each week to care for her mother, then her sister until they both passed away. Undeterred by these heartbreaking losses, she continued to travel to Connecticut to support her stepmother through her final days, and most recently, she has been caring for her 85-year-old father traveling back and forth to Connecticut.

Tragically, Susan is now in a position where she needs our help. She has been unemployed for some time, and her emergency funds are depleted. Despite her own challenges, Susan has always been the first to volunteer for Rada Boutique events and to support us in our times of need. Now, it's our turn to support her.

We have set up a GoFundMe page to raise money for Susan’s portable oxygen machine and other essential medical expenses that her insurance does not cover. Susan has always been the first to lend a helping hand, and I have never met anyone more deserving of our help and generosity.
