As many of you might have noticed, Reggie Yancey, our fellow worker at 250 Delaware Avenue who keeps our our suite clean and re-stocked has been absent.
Currently Reggie is battling a very serious health issue and he will be off the next several months as he receives weekly treatment.
Unfortunately, Reggie's insurance will not make up for his loss of salary and costly weekly co-pays.
Anything you can contribute is greatly appreciated and will at least ease a portion of Reggie's financial burden.
Background : I am Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Buffalo, NY Assistant Special Agent in Charge (ASAC) Mark A. LaMonte and I work in the same office building that Reggie Yancey works located at 250 Delaware Avenue, 8th Floor, Buffalo, NY 14202. Reggie is our daily custodian and maintains the cleanliness and Covid-19 sanitization of our HSI office. Over the last year , Reggie and I have maintained an amazing friendship.
The funds we are raising will be used by Reggie in several ways as he undergoes Radiation Treatment for his illness:
- Supplement his lost wages due to is inability to continue work during treatment to pay his rent / utilities / groceries
- Pay medical expenses not covered by his insurance ( co-pays and medical equipment)
- Provide transportation funds to help Reggie get to his appointments when our team is unavailable as he does not have a vehicle to drive
The funds will be withdrawn by myself and presented in Person by myself and HSI colleagues in the form of Cash / Check for Reggie to utilize as stated above.
