We are fundraising for our friend Portia. As some you may know her brother Tonderai tragically died a few months ago. She was in Oregon and got a call notifying her that he had passed away in the hospital. He leaves four young children and a wife. Since his passing Portia has graciously and lovingly helped her family with the funeral expenses. Because flights are so expensive, she has spent $4000 in flights to be with her loved ones in this time of grief. Like the strong, loving woman we all know her to be, she has risen up in-spite of all of her own sadness to help her family with funeral expenses, totaling around a $1000. Friends have already generously raised $1000 for her, but we are hoping to be able to cover the $4000 she has amassed in flights to be with her loved ones. Thank you. Any amount helps.
