Pete O'Buck tragically passed on Nov 15, gone too soon. This collection is to support his family with funeral costs. Anything raised above will go towards a college fund for his son.

Update prior to withdrawal...
I will be withdrawing the funds and closing this campaign. Thank you all for your support. After Go Fund Me's portion, we have collected $8,179.00. I was asked by family to organize this campaign since I was a lifelong friend and knew Pete both personally and professionally over decades. The funeral expenses were just under $6,000 and I will give that to Mike Walsh, Pete's cousin who fronted that money. The balance just over $2,000 will be put in a 529 account for Pete's son. I have the help of both Mike and Gio from the Teamsters union to do that.
A lot has happened since Pete's death in terms of conversations in the City to prevent this from happening again. Prayers go out to any and all of you that may have felt the recent impact of sudden death in our city.
