Our friend needs your help and support!

Hi everyone!

We all know Sherry Worthington, the life of the party, cheer you up when you are down, laughing at everything girl we all love. Well she needs our help! Before she tells her story, just know that this was hard for her to let me do. She is proud of what she has done with her life, how she has raised her boys. She doesn't want to be judged for asking for help or looking like she didn't make it. Well, like so many of us have had to deal with in our life and with our own families and friends Cancer reared its ugly head. She isn't able to work. She doesn't have any income coming in and is going to lose everything she worked for. Her boys are doing their very best to help of course and she is so thankful but at this point it is beyond what they can do. Please consider helping our friend Sherry.

Here is her story:

Two years ago I had a tumor that resulted in having a hysterectomy. After dealing with that for almost a year, last August I was diagnosed with breast cancer. In November I underwent a bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction. Due to all the complications I have had 6 surgical procedures done in less than a year. I still am having complications and will need another procedure. Through all of this I have suffered in so much pain that I cant work and I have difficulty sleeping.

Through all of this I have tried to put on a brave smile and carry on. I have underestimated this process. This journey has taken its toll physically, mentally and financially. Not just for me but for my boys also. I am very proud of my success and being able to help my boys when needed or anyone for that matter, but now I am living off of my savings in silence because the thing I feared most is becoming a reality. I can see the worry and stress in my boys eyes. My pride has silenced my need to ask for help. At this point my friends and family are asking for me to reach out and seeing the worry in my boys eyes has changed my mind.

My savings are depleted and I am now reaching out for help with my cost of living and to try to not lose anymore that I have worked so hard for. The stress and anxiety is too overwhelming and so hard for me to admit but I need help! This is a lot for me to ask and through all of this I have been humbled.
