Mike D have a major stroke on Friday. Half of his brain is covered in blood and the doctor's want to keep him in the hospital for a month to monitor him because his blood pressure is a challenge to control. He can move all of this extremities, Thank God, but his speech is jacked up. He has a very long road to recovery.
Over the years, Mike has always been a person to lay down what he is doing to help someone else. He has been there for me numerous times in the past 20 years. Helped me in some very trying times. A very good friend indeed.
I know growing up in the 80's in Los Angeles, all of our friends became one HUGE family from every school in the LA area. We all had great times together and our core friends still remain closer to us than some family members. This is a time where our LA family and family from all over the world can come together to assist our dear friend in these difficult times.
Mike is an entrepreneur and has his own business. Since he will be down for quite some time, he will have no income since he can't run his business. Mike has a mortgage and bills that need attention, and my first instinct is to ask friends and family to participate in this endeavor of helping a wonderful human being.
I know when we see these GoFundMe projects, sometimes we are turned off because we don't know the person and/or feel like we don't have enough money to participate. But if you believe that helping others no matter stranger, friend, or foe, you will be richly rewarded in your spirit and how you feel after.
I believe we are all here on this earth to help each other! I believe it is our purpose and why each of us here came to earth to experience the feelings of helping each other!
All of the money raised will be put towards Mike bills so that once he is able to understand what just happened, he doesn't have to worry about his bills which will just make his blood pressure go back up again. If we can collect enough money so his mind is at ease, this will definitely help in his FULL recovery so that we can have our friend back as he was!
Please donate ASAP as these funds we be used immediately directly for Mike's bills while he is in the hospital.
