In Memory of Our Friend, Mike Brook
On behalf of Mike’s family, as well as friends and coworkers at the John Allison Public House.
We invite the community to join us at the restaurant this Tuesday, April 18th from 11 AM to 11 PM to help us support Mike’s family. A portion of the day’s total sales will be donated to the family to help with funeral expenses. We will also have donation jars available to accept cash and checks. For those that can’t join us on Tuesday, we started a GoFund Me as well.
As a restaurant family, we are hurting, but we also ask that you keep Mike’s family in your hearts and prayers. He leaves behind his wife, Elizabeth “Bea” Hibble of 38 years, a sister, a daughter, two grandsons and many nieces and nephews. He will be forever loved and missed!
*If you do wish to donate, please make checks out to Elizabeth Hibble*
“Mike loved everybody, and everybody loved him,” said John Allison Public House co-owner, J. Morgan.
Mike Brooke was known as the face of the John Allison Public House in Greencastle. The business co-owner says the longtime bartender served up drinks, jokes, and pranks.
“Being a bartender personality is all you need you can be taught everything else, and he definitely had that 150%,” Morgan said.
“Everybody in this community loved this man I don't think he really understood how much he was loved,” Morgan said.
