Our Friend, Mark Dehem, and his family NEED Your Help!

My name is Kenny Lindsay, and I have had the privilege of knowing Mark Dehem as both a long-time friend and business associate. Witnessing his unwavering dedication to his family and his work has always been inspiring. It is with a heavy heart that I have organized this GoFundMe campaign to support Mark and his family during this challenging period in their lives.

On December 12, 2024, Mark was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic and liver cancer.

A devoted husband to Karen for 35 years and a loving father to their two adult children, Danielle and Ryan, Mark has always been the steadfast provider through his self-employed sports marketing business.

Over the past few months, Mark has undergone aggressive chemotherapy treatments. While these treatments aim to combat the cancer, they've come with severe side effects, leading to a recent stay in the intensive care unit. Now back at home, Mark continues to battle this relentless disease, enduring regular pain and days of low energy that makes even simple conversations challenging.

Unfortunately, Mark's health insurance only covers portions of his treatment, leaving the Dehem family responsible for thousands of dollars in accumulating medical bills. These expenses are burdensome, often requiring out-of-pocket payments to receive necessary procedures and treatments. The average annual cost of pancreatic cancer treatment in the U.S. is approximately $62,130, excluding surgery, with surgical procedures adding $29,000 to $175,000, depending on complexity.

The mounting medical bills and everyday living expenses have placed an overwhelming financial burden on the Dehem family during this already difficult time. Mark has always been there for others; now it's our turn to support him.
