Our girlfriend Lauren needs our help!

Sometimes people are lucky enough to have friendships that last from childhood all the way into adulthood and beyond. Friends are the family we choose ourselves. They are there when we need them. One of our girlfriends needs us now! Lauren Bennett needs us! Her close friends know that she has had a recurrence of breast cancer and will need a mastectomy as well as abdominal surgery for breast reconstruction. Her surgery is scheduled for December 7th. It is a long surgery and an even longer, slow recovery for her. Being a single mother of 3, Lily and Will in high school and Ethan in college, and having been laid off from her job of 20+ years after Covid hit. Her unemployment ran out just after being diagnosed so she is unable to work until after her surgery and recovery. Her struggle is real  She is going to need our help to get her though this! That’s what girlfriends do right??!! Any donations made would help her with monthly bills, food, and anything else she needs to get her through the holidays and beyond so she does not have to worry about these things and she can focus on her recovery, her health, both physically and emotionally, to get her through this and on the road to putting this behind her and being cancer free!

Lauren is such a “good egg” she is fun, funny and she’s a great friend and an even better mother. She has been through a lot, if you know, you know. She deserves to be able to laugh again and enjoy life with the people that love her. Let’s help a Girlfriend out!! Cause that’s what friends are for right??
