Our friend, John Jepson, needs our help!

A note from The Jepson Family:
Thank you everyone for your kind words, support and generous donations. John has made steady gains in rehab and will be discharged home on October 6th. He will continue outpatient therapy at Hospital for Special care twice a week and will have therapy at home the other five days with assist from Kara and the girls. John's spirits are good and he continues to be motivated and optimistic during his recovery.
Thank you for assisting him in reaching his goals!!

On Saturday, September 2nd, John's world turned upside down. John experienced a stroke which left him with right side paralysis and speech impairments. The stroke was then followed by a brain bleed on September 6th which introduced further complications. John has been fortunate to have the care of the wonderful staff at Hartford Hospital. After leaving the ICU, John was given 3 weeks of rehabilitation and will finally come home on or around October 1st.

All of us know John Jepson as an amazing husband, father, brother, son and friend. But what sets John apart is his remarkable character. John has never hesitated to give up his own time to help his neighbors, friends or community. Hebron youth benefited from the years John spent as volunteer coach and President of the Hebron Soccer Association. His love for soccer continued after coaching his own children to then offering his knowledge of the game to CT Soccer Officials Association. John enjoys working with peers, sharing the same passion for the great game, while continuing to work with young players in the Hartford area.

Professionally, John has enjoyed his career as a commercial loan officer with Liberty Bank. Continuing his interest in serving his community, he has found meaningful work assisting clients to reach their business goals in the greater Hartford area.

John's good deeds go far beyond the soccer field.

Now it is our turn to show John this same support and compassion.

In anticipation of a long recovery with unknown outcomes, your donations would be used to benefit John's continued progress towards reaching his goals. This will include quality of life adaptive technology, and durable medical equipment beyond the insurance coverage. Your donations will also allow for the purchase of home modifications for safe accessibility, and subsidize the expense of 24 hour care for John's safety when Kara returns to work. Additionally, these funds will help with anticipated medical and rehabilitation expenses beyond the insurance coverage.

John is a fighter. He wants to work hard and reach his goals. Hopefully we can come together to make this possible for him. Let's show John we will be by his side throughout this journey.
We support him and won't let him down!

Thank you for your generous donations!
