Our beautiful friend Jayne has been dealing with several health issues the past few years which have included an ailing heart condition, Parkinson's and now a broken hip which has brought about new challenges for Jayne.  


Jayne is currently convalescing at a rehab facility where it was determined she will not be able to live in her 2nd floor apartment in Oakland because it has no elevator, and she has limited mobility. In the midst of recovering from her hip injury, the opportunity for Jayne to move into an assisted living facility where one of her best friends lives presented itself.  And, if all goes as planned, she may even live in an apartment directly under her friend!!  

Because of these sudden changes in Jayne's life, she is looking at expenses associated with moving, packing, rents for the current and new apartments/deposit.  Because of her hip, Jayne will need a specialized  hospital bed as well as a scooter to help with mobility.  Jayne is also hoping to move from the rehab facility directly to the assisted living facility as soon as possible.  

Since Jayne is on a fixed income, many of her friends suggested a GoFundMe page. 

Those of you who know Jayne, also know what an amazing and loving person she is, and what a kind and generous person she has been to the community she loves.
