As we all know, our friend Jason Hines has been battling metastatic stage 4 colon cancer for the last 18 months. He has been an amazing fighter and is doing well, although he still is facing a long road to full recovery. Sadly along with the grueling physical toll, cancer affects every aspect of families experiencing it. Jason has had to leave his home, his job and the world as he knew it. Family and friends have generously housed him as needed. However, he still has accrued well over $100,000 in medical expenses, and the number will only continue to rise in the coming months. With excellent care from his current oncologist, the last year of chemotherapy and recent surgery to remove his last detectable tumor, Jason's prognosis is good, and 2023 brings high hopes for a full recovery.
