Hi there! We are the Cruz family: myself, Jessica, my husband Felix, our beautiful 9 month old son Julian and our late best friend Inno, a 9 year old husky/lab mix.

Our sweet boy touched the lives of so many people. Everywhere we went in our town, people knew who he was and enjoyed his company. Inno had such a quirky, goofy personality. He adored our family, friends, children, all other animals and meeting new people. He lived to make people smile. Even during his last days, he won the hearts of the vets and techs that worked hard to help him.

We went through a lot of hard times together and he was the glue that held our little family together. Whether we needed a laugh, a snuggle or just someone to listen... he was always there, always the perfect friend. And he was more than that to us... he was our family.

On Tuesday the 22nd, I came home to find our fur baby very ill. After 2 days in and out of the hospital, he was cleared to come home and we were under the impression that he was on the mend. We were able to spend Thanksgiving night together.

On the night of Friday the 25th, just days after his 9th birthday and for reasons unknown to us, he passed away peacefully in my arms at home.

We are hard working people that rarely ask for help, but our dedication to both of our babies knows no end. Raising a child in an area that is highly expensive is already difficult on its own and now during this tragic time we have racked up a high medical bill for Inno's hospital care. Our goal here is to raise money to help us pay for hospital and memorial expenses.

Since he gave so much love to us, we wish to give him one last thing before we say goodbye. Every November after Thanksgiving, we would take him on a ride to his favorite place... the beach at Cayucos. We would love to continue this tradition to honor him and take him back to the water where we can spread his ashes together as a family.
