Our friend Colins house fire recovery fund
Donation protected
On July 28th, 2019 a devastating fire broke out on Clarke street in Port Moody, BC that levelled a strip of historic buildings. The blaze was so big it took a combined 34 firefighters to get it under control. Colin is a very close friend of ours who thankfully and most importantly got out safely, but didn't have time to grab anything other than the clothes he was wearing and lost everything.
We're trying to raise some funds for the type of guy who'd be the first to give you the shirt off his back. He's a musician, an outdoorsman, and a member of the Canadian Army. If you've had the pleasure of knowing Colin, you know that this devastating fire couldn't have happened to a better person.
Our goal of $5,000 dollars is a rough estimate of what we think he will need to get back to some semblance of normalcy and will be updated as we get more information.. One hundred percent of the funds raised will go directly to Colin so he can get some new clothes, furniture, work boots, etc. He'll be staying at a friends until he finds a new place.
We understand that not everyone is able to donate money - sharing this on your Facebook or other social media platform would be an enormous help.
