Our friend Carlos just beat cancer for the 2nd time. So many don't make it back from a cancer diagnosis. The fight to stay alive came at a great cost. Carlos had to quit working and could barely make ends meet. He is self employed and had very little savings. While in treatment, his car broke down and had to go into the shop. The total repair cost is over $4,000. Carlos has made some of the payments, but since he just started getting back out to work, money is very tight. With the car in the shop, he now doesn't have a car to get out to work. He's in an awful situation. To make matters worse the garage is now charging him $10 a day for storage. The longer the car is in the shop, the higher the storage goes. It caps at $20 a day.  The cost will escalate quickly.
