Our Friend Bunni needs your help!

This is for my friend, Bunni Bundrick and her husband.   First, she would like to thank everyone for their prayers, posts and gifts.  Please keep the prayers coming.  They have a long road ahead of them.

Mr. Bundrick had 3 TIA’s (mini strokes)at the beginning of November.  He then had Cardiac Ablation surgery on December 17th.  After being discharged and returning home, he had a big stroke on December 19th.   He has some brain damage and it has affected the right side of his body.   They say he can recover from this type of stroke but it may take anywhere from 6 months to a year.

He has since been in the hospital which is an hour and a half away from their home.  Bunni has been off work staying with him and helping him. He seems to do a lot better with her there.   

Tomorrow, they will be going home.  At some point, Bunni will need to return to work, but Mr Bundrick still needs help standing, walking, bathing and eating this is basically all his ADL’s.   They will need to hire someone to come and help so she can return to work when her PTO runs out.  As all of us know, this type of care is expensive.  Insurance does not cover this type of care.  They will pay for his different types of therapy but still there are costs involved with that as well.

She is the first one to step up when any of us need her!   She didn’t want me to say anything or ask for help but I am because she needs us!   The proceeds from this will go directly to her and Mr Bundrick.
