Help for our friend and sister Kat
Don protégé
Good morning,
It is never easy to receive a phone call to let you know that a friend has passed away. Its even more difficult when you are not only friends of the passed, but friends of the family left behind. This morning, we learned of the passing of our friend Curtis who has been taken from this world entirely too soon. He has left behind a beautiful wife and daughter as well as his son Conner who just turned 18. They are all working through the pain of losing a loved one. As a friend to both Curtis and Kat, (and Ev of course), I wanted to put together a campaign to try and help supplement the unexpected costs that are associated with situations like these. There are no people who deserve the love and help than Kat's family and she will NEVER ask for help like this. So I am taking it upon myself to make sure people have the chance to donate if they can to be a part of the healing process, as well as helping the upcoming weeks only slightly more bearable. There are no words to express what we are all feeling right now, but two things are certain without question. 1) We will all miss Curtis in ways that can't be described. 2) We love you Kat, and will be here for you and your family now and forever.
For those that wish to attend the services, they will be held on Tuesday, March 28th at Baird Funeral Home in Troy from 10-12 for the viewing, immediately followed by the service from 1-2 and the cemetery service following that.
