In May of 2018, our friend Adri was diagnosed with stage 2B Triple-negative breast cancer. Adri took a leave from work to fight this cancer starting 5 months of chemotherapy treatment. After 2 surgeries, cancerous cells remained after her chemo, where she there had to go through several months of chemo pills causing her to feel pain in her bones and often feeling fatigue. 
We all know Adri is a fighter and shes going to get through this.  
Adri and her husband Izzy are parents to their two amazing kids Isaiah & Itzel who have all come together to help as much as they can. Whether it was Itzel helping cook meals, Isaiah helping with chores around the house, Issy simply looking at Adri like shes the most beautiful person in the world, this family has come together to keep uplifting Adri, and now it's our turn to help them out. 
I can not imagine the daily stress of always having to take medication and the tole it has taken on her physically and mentally, and still having it in her to raise a family. The funds I'd like to raise are to show support, for Adri and her family to use as they need. To help pay for medication, doctor appointment co-pays, buying groceries, or simply having a night out as a family. 
She's not one to ask for anything, but i know if she knew someone was in need she would do what she can to help. We help people we see on a daily basis. Now is our time to help our friend, our sister, our fellow Nordie, our family, Adri.
