It’s hard to ask for help. That’s why I’m asking on behalf of my best friend, who could use some love and support from the community. For the past year or so, Abby has been struggling with a host of inexplicable health issues that have impacted her day-to-day. Several months ago, a scan revealed some concerning imaging and thus began a whirlwind of doctor visits to try and uncover the root cause of what her doctors now anticipate to be a progressive diagnosis.

It’s been a scary couple of months. A couple weeks ago, Abby had a bone marrow biopsy, and although we are grateful that it came back clear, the results only raised more questions as to what’s going on. As a next step, she will be having another biopsy as well as additional imaging within the upcoming weeks to try and find some answers and determine a treatment plan.

In the midst of all this, Abby unfortunately lost her job and while she will (fortunately!) have insurance soon, she still has a ton of doctor visits, lab tests, infusions, and other expenses that quickly add up. Even with insurance, we are unsure of how long the treatment will potentially take. We’re humbly asking for your support as she navigates the next couple of months.
