Our flooded house.

I have owned my house since 2013 and knew at sometime it would flood. As life has moved on I have been divorced and found Jill and her daughter Sara. During this time the girls are with other family members while the house is being fixed. In the mean time I don't have a place to take the girls to spend my time with them as a family and that's something that is not covered by any insurance or disaster relieve and anyone who knows me knows, I need my girls. I would like to get a hotel room once a week just to spend time with them as a family
We have insurance and the structure is more than covered. It's the contents coverage for what is in the house that is not enough. When I set up my flood insurance money's was tight. $100 fridge, $100 washer and dryer free couches. Over the years my appliances and furniture be came nicer things and I didn't update it. We were anticipating 1' of water and lifted everything up @2' and we got 30". We lost an entire bedroom of clothes and contents. We don't have enough contents coverage.
The are some other damages but honestly I don't care. I mostly just really miss my girls and don't have a place or money for the 6 of us to gather together and have just one night a week as a whole family to be together. With covid and supply shortages my house may not be able to be occupied until March because the flood took out the furnace.
If you have even a few dollars to spare I would be forever grateful for making family time possible.
