Hi, we are Mimi & Mitch, and many of you know that we've been side-hustling our dog treat business, Desert Dog Treat Bar. We are fundraising for our very first brick-and-mortar shop opening in December!

We started this business in 2020 once covid hit because it allowed us to put the time from our commute into something we deeply believe in. We believe in helping your dog live longer through handmade, small-batch treats using locally sourced ingredients.

We started small popping up at Farmer's markets selling dog biscuits, and since then, we have expanded to multiple markets and teamed up with other small businesses for wholesale orders. Our treat line now offers biscuits, jerky, cakes, merch and special orders.

We've made so many incredible friends on this journey. It is wild to think about where we started to where we are now! The photo below was our first market-ever, where we brought 23 treat bags and sold out. Today, we have a reusable jar program and are usually stocked with ~80-100 bags of biscuits and treats per market.

What started small grew into a full-time job (even while we still work out full-time jobs). Every moment is dedicated to our business and helping it grow -- all of our weeknights, all of our weekends and every moment of free time.

We've made many sacrifices to get to where we are and worked incredibly hard to make it happen. We recently have been given a chance to open our first brick-and-mortar shop in Phoenix, and we would love your support to help make it happen.
