Our hearts are heavy as we face yet another loss in our family. We’ve been through so much lately, with back-to-back funerals, and preparing for another hard goodbye to our Uncle Junior.

Junior’s life wasn’t always easy, but he had a gift, a way of making everyone feel lighter just by being around him. His laughter was his superpower, his jokes were legendary, and his heart was bigger than any hardship he faced. If you knew Junior, you knew you could count on him for anything. He’d give you the shirt off his back, a smile when you needed it most, and a teasing joke to make you laugh through your tears.

Even as he battled renal failure, he never let go of that light. But after going septic and being placed on a ventilator, his body grew too tired to keep fighting. A few of his sisters were blessed to be by his side during his final days.

We just want to honor him the way he deserves: with dignity, respect, and love. Every dollar raised will go directly to the funeral home.
