Our fight against Necrotizing Fasciitis..

Hi everyone my name is Valerie and my eldest son Ray unexpectedly contracted a very rare and dangerous flesh eating bacteria, called Necrotizing Fasciitis. He got sick on Tuesday 9/06/22 and by Saturday 9/10/22, Ray was undergoing his first of three surgeries. This bacteria is very aggressive and unforgiving and will keep him sidelined for awhile (4-6 months), during his recovery. He was very fortunate to seek medical help right away and not put it off as Ray always does, when it comes to his health. Thankfully  they got it nipped in the bud, (quite literally). Anyone who knows Ray and Jenn knows that they don't ask or rely on anyone, but this one is unavoidable. Insurance is covering the vast part of medical bills, but not nearly enough, and with all the other expenses that they will occur unexpectedly, it's just too overwhelming. So after talking with some outside friends they suggested I start this page for Ray, Jennifer and their boys. Any support will be greatly appreciated, and will help to combat this long and uphill battle.
