Our Fifi

Donation protected
Hi my name is Kellyann and I am fundraising for my sister Fiona Gallacher, we live in North lanarkshire area, Scotland

A little about Fiona...

Fiona was 33 and most importantly a mother to four amazing children, Graham, Kevin, Emmaleigh & Charlie-may ages 3 to 16. Three beautiful step daughters.

Fiona is one of four sister myself I am the oldest sarahann who's second oldest then Fiona & Ashley who's the youngest..

Fionas journey so far...
Just before Christmas 2023 Fiona wasent keeping to well & her stomach had swollen was clear to see she was in a lot of pain & discomfort.. so on the 16 December she went to A&E to get checked over & see what was going on. They sent her for an operation on the 22nd and removed most of fionas big bowels some her small bowel & her right ovary.
On the 8th of January fiona was diagnosed with stage 4 adenocarcinoma cancer & given 6 months - a year to live & discharged from the hospital the next day she went to stay sarahann & her partner William where sarahann took on 24hrs care for fiona making sure her medication & needs were meant... while also helping her wishes & plans be put in place for her four children's future.

On the 23 of February sarahann was at her limit to how she could help fiona as her pain had gotten unmanageable & she took a turn for the worst, within a week family was called & informed fiona was on her last days and might not make it through the mothers day weekend for five days we sat by her side at the hospital till she was transferred to st Andrews hospice. Where she was surrounded by love..As a family this is the most hardest and out of this world experience especially to happen to such an amazing person. Fiona fought right till the end and past away peacefully in her sleep on 22nd March at 08:09 with sarahann by her side.
I can not put in to words how proud I am of all the children & all my sisters especially fiona she has been a true inspiration had us laugh through the hurt.. memories we will cherish for life.
Sarahann and William will be moving in to fionas house & continue to rise fionas children as she wished.
Any donation would be very be very much appreciated.. all donations are been raised to help fiona on her next journey and celebration of her life she deserves..
On fionas final resting day she wanted all the children to do something fun so any any left over donation will be shared between the seven children as fiona required...

I would like to just thank everyone for your support & special thank you to nurses, doctors at the hospital & especially St Andrews hospice who helped our fifi pass from this horrible disease, comfortably & peacefully you all do amazing work. Fionas funeral service will be held at holytown crematorium on the 9th April at 9:40am
