Our mom, Kristen, was recently diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer and is undergoing treatment. As you can imagine, this has been a massive shock and a tremendous financial burden on our family.

For anyone who doesn't know her, Kristen is a young, vibrant, single mom of 4, a devout Catholic and author of a children's book called, "That Place", which she wrote to help children cope with grief and the loss of a loved one, after the passing of her own father. Our mom loves animals, traveling, running, writing, her non-profit work and so many other things, but when she was diagnosed, she had to give all of that up.

Our mom is a fighter, she's battled cancer with dignity, grace and courage. Her journey has been long and painful, but our family and friends have given her hope, encouragement and support. She's the kind of mom who prays for and helps anyone who needs it and now she needs the prayers and help.
