My brothers and I are so heartbroken to share the very unexpected passing of our beloved father. He was a man full of love, laughter, and music- always with Tejano music and especially his Oldies playing in the background. He was known to many as "Night Owl," a nickname that fit him so perfectly, as he was always up late with a story, a song, or simply making sure everyone around him was cared for.

Our father was a true jack-of-all-trades. He especially loved doing tattoos and working on vehicles-skills he used to help my brothers and I be self-sufficient but also to help his family, friends, and anyone in need. He touched the lives of everyone who knew him with his kindness, soulfulness, and sense of humor. I can still hear him say clear as day "if your scared jump in my pocket." My brothers and I to this day still say this.

Now, as we grieve this tremendous loss, we are faced with the unexpected burden of funeral expenses. We will be honoring our father in Arizona where he has lived for a number of years. We want to give him the memorial he deserves-to honor his life, his love for music, and the love he poured into his family.

Any contribution, no matter how small, will help us cover the costs of laying him to rest and allow us to focus on cherishing his memory.
