My name is Hiba Dasuki, and I am currently based in Canada. I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my close friend, Khalid Sami Al Banna, who is living in Gaza, Palestine, along with his family of 11 members.

Khalid and his family have been directly impacted by the ongoing war on G@za. Although their home is still standing, it is no longer safe to live in due to extensive damage. The house has been severely affected by nearby destruction, and rodents have spread inside, making the environment unsafe especially for the children.

The family has also lost their primary source of income due to the war and is now struggling to meet even their most basic needs. In addition, Khalid’s mother is battling cancer, and the smoke and fire damage within the home are significantly worsening her condition and putting her health at serious risk.

We are raising funds with a goal of $100,000 CAD to support Khalid and his family. The funds will be used for:

• Repairing and restoring their damaged home to make it safe to live in

• Covering urgent medical needs and care for Khalid’s mother

• Providing basic necessities such as food, clean water, clothing, and hygiene supplies

• Supporting the family as they work to rebuild their lives after losing their income

All funds raised will be sent directly to Khalid Sami Al Banna through secure and traceable money transfer methods to ensure transparency and accountability.
