Hello everyone, my name is Scott. My fiance and I are parents of 3 beautiful children and work very hard to make sure they turn out to be great human beings in this crazy world, especially in the eyes of God.

As a parent, nothing can ever prepare you for the unexpected like what we dealt with today at about noon on Feb. 17th, 2023. After receiving a pounding on our door, our neighbor informed us that his house was on fire and that we "might wanna get out." 10 seconds later smoke began POURING into our home from his side of the townhouse. We ran as fast as possible to get our 4 year old daughter out of her bed in the downstairs bedroom, our 8 month old puppy dog, and boots & a jacket for our little one. With seconds to spare, we barely made it out but thankfully we did and are OK and safe. Also thankfully our 2 other children were still in school at the time.

After an hour of sitting outside in the blistering cold without the appropriate clothing or shoes for ourselves, a fire truck van arrived and allowed us to sit in there to warm up.

The fire was put out and the damage was assessed... Thank the good lord Jesus that the firewall dividing our homes held up and our home still remains. Unfortunately there is exuberant amounts of smoke damage and cancerous gases still trapped in there. So we've now been informed that our family of 5 (plus our Pup Ruger) will have to stay at a hotel for up to a month while our home is air scrubbed, turned upside down, cleaned of the harmful smoke residue and carpet torn up and replaced. Our entire family has been displaced and we can't access any clothing or food from our home... in the name of Christ Jesus, Son of the living God, we humbly and graciously ask for YOUR help! Any donation helps at this point in time. With the smoke damage and costs of our new living situation now, we are in dire need of help. It has taken a huge mental, emotional and now financial toll on us.. We cannot afford the cost of food, clothing, dog food, toiletries or gas right now. And starting Feb. 21st we’ll have to drop off and pickup our 3 children from their individual schools which are over 21 miles away from our hotel… one school of which is in Wyoming, MN. Also our insurance deductible is 2% of the value of our home so we urgently need help.
