Help our family regain hope after auto theft

Hello, we are a small family here raising funds to help us with our recent devastation. My family and I moved from California to Oklahoma just recently trying to make a better life for our children. We drove here with nothing but bags of clothes and a few boxes of toys. We drove across states with our 3yr old and really had quite the journey. After a few weeks of struggle upon arriving here we continued to have faith and were determined to keep going until we had a roof over our heads. We found a nice couple who took a chance on us and rented us a beautiful home we started with getting a couple blow up mattresses And some boxes that held up the tv and also used boxes to eat on. It wasn’t the best but it was ours! Now fast forward from December we are getting back on our feet and starting to feel like we have really done it, we have really made a great choice being here. Then the worst thing happened. My heart and spirit are completely broken. Yesterday morning my husband myself and our 3yr old son woke up to no vehicle. We first were confused and then in sheer panic. We realized that our car was stolen! Right out of our driveway. I feel like we live in a decent neighborhood so it shocked me. Just moving here from California and not having anything but that car. The police found it close by and gave us the heart wrenching call that the car was in bad shape.. I never imagined that it would be like this. They tagged up the entire inside with foul language and images. These kids cut our sons car seat out of the car and totally tore everything apart and most of everything in the car belonged to our child. The entire car filled with ashes and weed and smelled like a bunch of teenage boys. Naturally this morning I am in tears waiting for a junk car company to come tow our only vehicle because some boys wanted to make a name for themselves. We have nothing. But what I do have is a little tiny piece of compassion left for those boys that did this because God had at least kept a roof over our heads thus far. It’s not fair and it’s not ok. Their parents or guardians would be so disappointed if they seen what they did to our family and many other families. To the boys that did this: your tik tok trend, or your want to feel like a rebel, or your need to make a name for yourselves in the street, or whatever the reason you hurt a little family, a family that works hard to just make it. A little family with nothing to spare. But we trust in the Lord and have the strongest faith we can. We forgive you. And I hope that one day you will change your behaviors, 10 years from now when you are getting home tired from work in the car that you worked hard for and greet your wife and 3yr old son that you think back to all the people you hurt and ask the lord to forgive you and continue to keep your family safe. I hope that you will one day mentor young lost boys like yourself into a better life. And a better way.
