Family & Friends....
My son Taylor was involved in a horrific trucking accident.

His Jeep Cherokee Laredo was hit by a semi-tractor trailor on April 3, 2017 while we were driving down I95 South to start the next chapter in our life in Florida.
Taylor was also traveling with his two co-pilots, Chanel (our Pomeranian) and Fifi (my daughter's beloved therapy dog).
Chanel has apparent injuries, but I cannot take her to the vet at this time. I do happen to have pain medication she recently received from an injury she sustained from her baby 85lb brother Patrick (it was an accident, Patrick thinks he is 20lbs).
Fifi did not survive this horrific crash and my daughter is heartbroken.
Our family has had many trials and tribulations over the years and the one constant has remained, our faith in Jesus and the unparrelelled loved & support we always receive from our family & friends.
It is with great trepidation that I ask for financial help at this time.
When I first created this fund, it was in haste and I did not take into consideration many factors that were going into this. I have had to suspend starting a new job to help Taylor get to medical appointments and the care he needs. Taylor will not be able to start working now until he gets medical clearance.
***Taylor is getting stronger each day, but he continues to struggle with nightmares and doesn't like to leave the house now.

My savings for our move to Florida has become
depleated to pay for unexpected expenses that will have to be paid out of pocket due to my liability coverage of Taylor's vehicle. These bills include the hotel stay in Georgia so we can be near his Doctors, food and a rental car .
Our basic neccesities were in the Jeep. I was driving my  my Mazda, "The pet mobile",  carrying my other dog Patrick and our 6 cats.
All of our clothing, shoes, undergarments; personal file documents; basic household items-dishes/glassware/silverware-Bath toiletries/towels, shampoos, brushes etc and Taylor's mattress-Xbox, TV, were in the Jeep.
I'm sorry I can't remember everything, but it was basic survival/start-up items. The rest of our belongings are in storage in Queens (which will be sold, I no longer want anything because I am NEVER driving I-95 again!!!)
We need financial help in any form, gift cards, food cards (Publix, Winn-Dixie etc), gas cards and cash for upcoming bills and vet bills.
Taylor was also to start a new job and is not going to be able to work for the forseeable future with the head injury and PTSD.
I had rented a room in Jacksonville prior to leaving NY. Upon my phone call to the hotel to explain my situation, they were noncompliant and refused to refund my money. They stated it was purchased via a third party and was non-refundable, which was $250. I'm just trying to convey what I have laid out and can't get back.

Any help is appreciated. please contact me with any questions.

If I haven't contacted or spoken with you about the accident, please accept my apology. I am still trying to ingest all of this, it's so surreal. I am blessed beyond words that my son is alive. The EMS, Fire Dept and Georgia State Troopers were fantastic and were amazed (and perplexed) that Taylor got out of the vehicle.
Thank you and God Bless you
