Dear friends and family

I am so beyond happy to provide updates for Pat King, my precious hubby of 37 years! As many of you know, Pat’s health has been failing and this year, 2024, his future was so dark, I had to quit work in January to care for him full time. Pat has been on a liver transplant list, and we received the wonderful news the beginning of March that there was liver for him at UCSF. Pretty much all of March was extremely crazy! We are so blessed as Pat is now home from both the successful liver transplant and other surgeries that were extremely necessary but could not be performed until he was stronger. I will be staying home as caretaker until I return to my full-time job on April 23. Rhonda, my sister, will take up the mantle of caretaker while I am at work!

We are sending this out to people we know and some we don't know. Pat will not be returning to appliance repair of which he did for over 20 years but will look for something to keep himself busy.

We are asking for any assistance to cover the out of pocket costs for our family. This includes lost wages (I am the head of household), hotel, parking, and travel costs. The total is $5,400.
