Help our family out of homelessness

After sharing our story, we saw a tremendous amount of love and support but unfortunately we did not meet the goal in time and our family vehicle broke down keeping us in my grandparents 96 year old home. We used any remaining funds to pay up our storage fees, weatherize the home, stock up on diapers, and start automotive repairs. In a more unexpected turn of events, the power was disconnected upon installation of the new digital meters and excel energy requires a full inspection from the county which estimated will cost around $5000-$7500 to meet code requirements. We were pushed into a hotel and where I am very grateful for no longer worrying about plumbing issues, mice, or freezing cold nights, we cannot afford to save enough to ever move out. My mother hasn't even picked up the keys to her new place yet but she has offered her extra bedroom to us and we are taking it because we already have opportunities available within walking distance to her house in Oklahoma and Solomon can get testing and therapy sooner than he can here. So this is it, this is the last effort to raise a little more to help with U-Haul and a car rental to get there. Please donate to finally help us out of homelessness.

It's been a year and a half since we left college Station for Colorado by way of Amarillo. With the support of family we set out to acquire behavioural consult for our 3 year old who has shown signs of autism but wouldn't be tested nor seen by an ABA in Texas for a few years, options in education for our 13 year old who had struggled in public schools for being an independent critical thinker, and for ourselves, dedicated and involved parents who want to raise our sons in the mountains with more access to outdoor activities and options for all inclusive family therapy. Our pit stop to save money turned into a detour of catastrophic events and to our dismay nearly destroyed our family entirely. Yet still we stand, now living in my late grandparents 90 plus year old home without running water, functioning windows, air conditioning, or heating and very little hope which desperately brings me here since we need to be moved before the first freeze anyway. It's no secret that I will give up my career and financial freedom to stay home and care for my children but post COVID it became my full time job because options for help in our situation are few in Texas. We will always put their care first so we've tried the move near family and find jobs option but it didn't work out so now we have the jobs and need to relocate. As a mother to 3 unique sons, I want to show them that no matter the adversity, giving up is not an option and that sometimes you have to leap out on faith multiple times to be successful. We are not our current situation. We will only grow from being planted so deep into the ground as we have before. This move brings quality of life to every member of our family in many avenues of life so we will not stop until our dream is fulfilled. We've set out on faith and put in applications and already I have gotten a job offer with Real Estate Personnel in Arvada, CO that will give us discounted housing starting the first week in October and Justin has a few options that he needs to appear to in person before finalizing the on boarding process. We just need help getting there so please donate.
