We never imagined we’d be in this position, asking for help, but on 8/10, our lives changed forever. The devastating flood that hit Milwaukee swept through our home, destroying everything we owned. Our house is unlivable, our furniture and belongings are gone, and even both of our cars were ruined beyond repair.

We’re now faced with starting over completely from scratch. We’ve learned that insurance will not be covering most of our losses, leaving us without the means to replace even the most basic necessities.

We are doing everything we can to recover, but the costs of finding a safe place to live, replacing essential items, and getting transportation back are overwhelming.
