Our family is in dire need

Hello, my name is Kelly, and I am reaching out to you in a time of desperate need (we have shut off notices, medical needs n much more). Over the past year, our lives have been turned upside down by a series of heart-wrenching events. It started in October 2023 when a crisis struck our family, the details of which I cannot fully disclose for the protection of my daughter.

As a mother, my primary concern has always been the well-being of my child. The emotional toll of the crisis forced me to make a heart-wrenching decision: to leave my job and stay home to provide the constant care and support she desperately needed. I hoped to continue working from home, but the challenges have proven insurmountable.

To make matters worse, my daughter's father has chosen not to be involved in her life, leaving us to navigate this difficult journey alone. Legal proceedings to address his responsibilities are ongoing, but they will take time to resolve. As if this wasn't enough, our financial situation has become increasingly dire, with medical bills and daily expenses piling up.

Recently, my world was further shattered when I lost my father. His passing has left a void in our lives that words cannot express. My mother, who bravely battled and overcame cancer five years ago, has been a pillar of strength for us, but the cumulative stress of these events is overwhelming.

Despite all of this, my daughter remains my beacon of hope. She often asks, "When will things be better?" and it breaks my heart that I cannot provide an answer. The fear of losing our electricity and other essential services is a constant shadow over our lives.

Working part-time while trying to be there for her every moment has taken a tremendous toll on both of us. I want nothing more than to see her smile again, to give her the happy childhood she deserves. But I can't do it alone.
