On December 16th, while out of the house I was notified that my house was on fire. I rushed home to find the house completely engulfed in flames and smoke. The back of our home is completely non existent, burned down to just the frame. We lost just about everything we had. Me, and my two children 1 and 5 and two dogs are now displaced and trying to make some sense of our sudden situation right before Christmas. We lost our cat in the fire which is extremely emotional for us. We are currently in position to house hop with family but with having a our own family and pets it can be quite difficult to keep that up long term. We felt like we had just gotten comfortable in our situation given the economic crisis and how I’m sure everyone has faced the burden of inflation recently just to have the foundation snatch from under us. Any help that you can provide us during this time would be greatly appreciated, all help will go to us recovering from this and trying to stabilize our family and make sure that the children feel the burden of our tragic situation the least.
