Help our Family from eviction and deportation

Hi, my name is Nicole. If you’re here you probably know our story but if you don’t; My husband Raheem is from America. We met in 2011, married in 2014 and he moved here to Canada in 2015 when I had became hospitalized with depression and anxiety and could no longer take care of our kids alone. We have 3 boys ages 12, 11 and 6. One of us works while the other stays home to take care of our kids (our youngest is autistic and non verbal) . It has alternated throughout the years which one of us does which but right now I am working full time while Raheem takes care of the kids. Partly because he had lost his job as many others did during Covid. Neither of us were able to find employment at that time. His temporary resident permit and passport expired during this time so I was the one who returned to work and we applied for renewal of his permits as we’ve been doing these past years. I think because we had to send in his passport at a later date (a couple weeks after) than his application they didn’t read thru everything and didn’t notice his updated passport? We need to reapply for this as well as his residency. He’s lived here for 9 years and has paid taxes in Canada for 10. It’s ridiculous it’s this expensive and timely.

the 2nd part is our water bill. There were leakages we didn’t know about and between Covid, depression, dealing with children with special needs, and me just being ignorant we missed a few water readings, our bill is now $5063. We have sought out agency’s but they were only able to help with $400. The water company says our monthly payments aren’t enough to even cover interest so we are also seeking help with that before our (new) landlord kicks us out for not having water. We had to move due to damages and black mold.

this is the last thing we wanted to do, we were making payments to a lawyer for his residency but haven’t been able to make a payment in a long time due to not ever having enough money. And if Raheem got deported there is no way I would financially, physically or mentally be able to raise the kids on my own and on top of that we are stuck in a cycle of struggling and can’t seem to even catch our breaths.
