Our families financial hardship

Hello, my name is Jenny Rodriguez, and I'm reaching out on this GoFundMe page seeking assistance during a tough financial period my family is currently facing. We have five children ranging from 1 to 15 years old. My husband was laid off on November 2nd, 2023, prior to that his job was not offering much hours which caused a significant strain as we tried to secure work and make ends meet. Thankfully, he recently started a new job on December 11th, 2023, and his first paycheck is due on January 5th, 2024.

We're at a point where we're asking for help, something that feels embarrassing & uncomfortable, but we're out of alternatives. We're on the brink of losing our only vehicle and facing potential eviction from our rented house. I've exhausted all avenues seeking assistance, contacting numerous resources, but unfortunately, most weren't accepting applications, lacked funds, or had closed applications.

Our financial situation is dire, having maxed out credit cards just to cover basic needs like gas, food, and essentials for our children. Debts are mounting, and we're unable to pay bills like our car loan, which won't grant us another forbearance, as well as utilities such as electricity, water, gas, and wifi. Although my husband's income will help stabilize our situation, these immediate bills and impending eviction notices don't wait.

I'm turning to this platform as a last resort, hoping for support from our loved ones, family, friends, and anyone willing to assist during this challenging time. Your generosity, no matter how small, will go a long way in helping us regain stability for our family. We deeply appreciate any help towards reaching our goal.
