The Larson Family
As many of you know Tim was diagnosed with Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC) a chronic, progressive fatal liver disease for which there is no cure other than a life saving liver transplant.
In July of this last year we were informed that his condition had worsened, and we have watched him steadily decline since that time. We received the heartbreaking news in November of 2018 that his condition had progressed to the point that a liver transplant will be necessary to save his life and he was put on the transplant list with UNMC here in Omaha. Our five children ages 15, 13, 10, 8, and 7 and I are heartbroken as we have watched their papa deteriorate over the last several months.
On March 2nd at 10:41pm we received a phone call from the liver team and were informed that a liver was available to Tim for transplant. We rejoice and thank God for providing this gift of life. However, following the procedure Tim will be out of work for a minimum of two months while he recovers from surgery and Alethea will be his primary caregiver.
Your donation will help offset our expenses during this time. Both Tim and Alethea, and their five children, thank you for your prayerful donation in any amount. We thank all of you who have been on Our Faith Journey with us and look forward to rejoicing with all of you in the days ahead!
A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Thank you for stepping out with us as we continue on Our Faith Journey!
