Clifford's Homecoming

Sadly as most of us now know, our fabulous and beloved friend Clifford has been having a tough time of it recently.

Cliff has undergone significant surgery to remove an aggressive cancer from his bowel, and is halfway through chemotherapy treatments. This has left him without income, and relying on friends for accommodation whilst enduring what is a pretty awful experience by all accounts... and that's not the end of it.

After the chemo, he then faces an extensive bout of radiation therapy which will put him in bed for what I believe will be at least 2 months.

Speaking with him Cliff is typically positive, but I heard in his voice a real sadness. He is feeling lonely and isolated, and has decided he wants to return to Perth for the radiation treatments so he can be closer to family and friends.

Financial concerns must be a terrible source of anxiety for him right now, so I propose that we all pitch in to pay for his airfare and at least assist a little in getting him relocated back home.
